Restoration House

The Restoration House (TRH) helps restore single mothers and their children back to God’s good intent for their lives. Through supportive transitional housing, ally teams, and family advocacy, TRH walks alongside low-income single-mother families, helping them break harmful cycles and regain hope and a future.

At its core, The Restoration House believes that God intended for us to live in community. Further, God desires for all of humanity to be restored in four key relationships – with God, Self, Others and Creation. In support of this, TRH is building The Village, a community in which single-mother families develop supportive relationships and find healing, stability and restoration as they build a brighter future.

Emerald Youth

Emerald’s mission is based on to raise up a large number of urban youth to love Jesus Christ and become effective leaders who help renew their communities. Following the four principles of faith, relationships, learning, and health Emerald Youth is committed to respond to the pronounced gaps in youth services and outcomes for 12,000 economically disadvantaged young people across Knoxville.

Emerald Youth is currently trying to close this gap by taking part in two major initiatives across the next decade. By expanding the faith, education, and sports programs to reach a majority of these underprivileged young adults. EY is also steadily trying to search for the root causes that create barriers to success within these urban neighborhoods.
